The Package:
NDM are contracted to clad a decorative
overhang / sun screen to some elevations of the building.
The Design:
A decorative overhang to some sides of the
building is designed to act as a sun screen. This structure shows how
seamlessly pre-fabricated elements can be incorporated into a
traditional hand worked zinc cladding system.
Materials Used:
The underside of the overhang consists of
a white Glass Fibre board fixed to NDM timber substrate.
The rest of the overhang structure is clad
in VM Pre-Weathered Plus Zinc.
Zinc boxes manufactured by NDM
Fabrications are bracketed to the structure to form a louvre like
appearance.
The Aluminium oval fins are anodised.
